Welcome to Paul H. Young Trout Unlimited!

Founded on the banks of the Au Sable River in 1959, Trout Unlimited is a national organization with more than 150,000 members organized into about 400 chapters from Maine to Montana to Alaska. This dedicated grassroots army is matched by a respected staff of lawyers, policy experts and scientists, who work out of more than 30 offices nationwide. This team ensures that TU is at the forefront of fisheries restoration work at the local, state and national levels.
In Michigan, many of our natural resources have been damaged by sand erosion, hydroelectric dams, Antrim oil development, and urban expansion. Consequently, a legion of the 1100 members of the Paul H. Young Chapter of Trout Unlimited have dedicated countless hours of work on stream projects, funding and education programs to help sustain the fragile ecological balance upon which the health of fish depend.
If the present rate of damage to our environment continues, future generations may never know the thrill it is to fish for wild trout and salmon. The originators of Trout Unlimited knew that what is good for trout is ultimately good for man, and that cold, clean running water is the lifeblood of our planet. Come join the Paul H. Young chapter of Trout Unlimited and help us to “Cast it Forward”.
Fly Fishing Film Tour

2025 Fly Fishing Film Tour
The annual Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is a traveling roadshow of the best fly-fishing films in the world. Through a submission process, films are selected to bring some of the best content to the big screen. This year’s curated lineup once again captures the spirit of adventure and perseverance in the world of fly fishing. The movies aim to create community, inspire, encourage and support conservation efforts worldwide.
F3T is the original and largest fly-fishing film event of its kind. Now in its 19th year, F3T provides an opportunity for the fly-fishing community to come together, share stories, and experience the best of the sport’s cinematic world.
There is a concession stand available, but no adult beverages. A few choice items will also be raffled off during intermission. Prepare to be tempted.
